When we eat, we should talk about it!
After a lifetime of dining out, I decided I have something to say about it. Sure, I have left reviews and posted photos of great meals for all three people that follow me on Instagram, or the 1,000 plus before that on Twitter. (I decided to X-out of Twitter.) At my age, maybe I just want to howl at the moon.
The plan here is to start posting some photos and comments about dining out in the Twin Cities area. The comments will always be constructive and never destructive. Running a restaurant or bar is a hard business and no one needs an old dog growling because his fork was dirty or the burger was too salty.
I doubt that many people will read what I have to say. This is as much an exercise in keeping my tech skills sharp (yes, I am running this web-server at my house) as it is about reporting on my dining experiences. Well, not just my experiences.
As this blog formulates, there will be other contributors, too. My wife certainly (like I could stop her). And, our best friends and family will be encouraged to contribute. Eventually, I will open this to even more friends to talk about their dining experiences as well.
If you somehow stumbled on this site, and nothing seems to work, be patient, please. I have a day job and I am new to the Ghost blogging software. Until the next post– please dine out and kindly support all workers and owners of the restaurants & bars & food trucks trying to make a living by serving quality fare to their customers. And, remember to tip generously.
More to come.
